Easykill
National Record Of Achievement

A National Record of Achievement - usually full of unimportant past achievements, not at all helpful in bringing you success.

However Easykill’s National Record of Achievement will have been widely more anticipated then any 16 year olds on the verge of breaking into the ‘real world’. Having already supported bands such as Hundred Reasons, Hell is for Heroes and Fightstar, the band have finally brought out a mini album of British punk rock tracks.

The four piece from St Agnes, Cornwall have pulled out seven tracks of feel good, yet hard hitting solid rock. Made up of Kye Blacket (vocals), Rich White (drums), Sean Lascelles (lead guitar) and Vasey (bass), they have set the bar high with this their first offering.

The main and backing vocals combine well with the catchy rocky guitar riffs and none of the songs feature the hardcore screaming commonly ruining tracks in this day and age. Produced with the help of Jon Gray (The Subways), The bands sound is fast and hard 21st century rock that breaks into angelic catchy choruses.

For a band that has been together just over a year, this is a very good debut, offering tracks such as Dead in the Water and Ctrlbrkshftbrk, defined as nothing less than pure rock that leads to the need for the air guitar combined with Enemy Lines - a mellower number which features a cracking chorus destined for chart success.

It is without a doubt a National Record of Achievement that anyone should be proud of.
