Here we go again…
Another week, another Bandidge blog, with new clicky things to click on and view… even possibly win things too!
So lets not waste any more time and just get right into it!
First up, there’s Grace who return with their second song – ‘Wonderful’ – today. People with musical brains at the Guardian and Sunday Times have been praising these guys and giving them the proverbial “going to be huge” line, as well as Zane and Jo Whiley on Radio Uno. If you’ve got Real Player or Windows Media, then check out the new vid:

Are you in a band and want to try and make a big step towards superstardom? Well, the ‘Indie Idle’ competition being held by the guys who organise the Camden Crawl could well be your ticket.
According to the press release:
“New unsigned bands are invited to send their demos where they will be reviewed by a panel of industry movers & shakers. The best 30 demos will be placed on the Camden Crawl website where the public will have their chance to listen to the demos and vote for their favourites. The 10 demos that receive the most public votes will go through to the semi final, held at The Camden Crawl itself.
The semi-final takes place at 1.00pm on Thursday April 19th at an official Camden Crawl venue. The 10 demos will be listened to and reviewed by a panel of music industry A&R execs in a public forum and the punters will be given the chance to vote for their favourite 3 acts to perform live at the final the following day.
The live final takes place at 1.00pm on Friday April 20th at an official Camden Crawl venue. The 3 finalists will have a chance to perform three songs live before the public vote for the eventual winner, whom will then later in the evening play a full thirty minute live show as part of The Camden Crawl itself.
The band will also win a day's recording in London's Miloco Recording Studios to help them put together a professional demo (www.miloco.co.uk).
Details of how to enter the competition can be found at www.gigwise.com/indieidle
Competition conditions: All demos must be received by Friday March 16th. Online voting for the 10 semi final places will run from Monday March 19th to April Friday 13th (unlucky for some). To take place in the live final, the band/artist must be available to play three tracks live in Camden on the afternoon on April Friday 20th. The ultimate winners must be available to play a full electric 30 minute set at The Camden Crawl itself on Friday night, April 20th 2007.”
Good luck to anyone who enters!

The winner will receive a commission from E4 to make a series of idents with a £15,000 budget. Two runners-up will each receive £1500 worth of kit of their choice.
