Tína Díco from Denmark will definitely make her mark with her new release.
Tína Díco has actually being writing and recording music for some time, with 3 albums and an EP to date. Sacre Coeur is the first single to be released off the upcoming fourth album, Count to Ten. The female artist claims to be inspired by “Classic songwriters like Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan”, and listening to the track, it is quite evident.
This is a nice chill-out piece from the blonde bombshell, which abides to every rule of pop - short instrumental pieces with quiet verses and a louder, catchier chorus. However the lyrics aren't quite there yet, especially in the chorus - there doesn't seem to me any real meaning, and more pose as something to make up a typical love song.
Having said this, the verses seem very dramatic, posing a story about a confusing relationship with love, produced in a mature, well thought out way with good intentions. The underlying beat could also cause a little bit of toe tapping!
Although this may not be the best of her releases, this girl shows with a bit more practice and limelight, there will only be bigger and better things to come.
