Gnakpa's Soup: Personal, biased opinions based around Luton Town Football Club. Updated sparingly, for my own sanity.
Welcome To Gnakpa's Soup
During a three-year spell at Luton Town, Claude Gnakpa was transformed from erratic, infuriating defender to electrifying, attacking phenomenon. His combination of strength, searing pace and an uncanny knack to bamboozle defences with his oft-unconventional style elevated him to legendary status amongst Hatters fans: the defining moment coming with an extra-time winner against Scunthorpe United in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy final at Wembley in April 2009. Putting his devastating form down to his mum’s homemade soup, this section is named after Luton’s modern-day cult hero – and will be updated vary rarely, as, for me, writing about Luton Town full-time is certified madness…!
This Is Our Town
'This is our Town' was a creative writing piece I slapped up on social media on Wednesday, 28th September, 2016 to show support for the Power Court and Newlands Park developments proposed by Luton Town Football Club.
Over the course of the next few days, it was viewed, shared and re-tweeted by many Town fans (including the football club itself) across Twitter and Facebook, which left me feeling quite speechless!
