About BANDIDGE

Bandidge started off life as a music and entertainments website in 2007. During its 18-month lifespan, it racked up a number of notable interviews, including: Beastie Boys, UNKLE, Zane Lowe, Kate Nash, Alexisonfire, New Found Glory, Chris Barrie (Red Dwarf), Ash, Modern Toss, We Are Scientists, Scouting For Girls and Funeral For A Friend.

Along with hundreds of album and single reviews, TV/film shows and live performances, Bandidge was a daily entertainments news source for tens of thousands of monthly viewers, as well as a proving ground for many of Bandidge’s young writers and contributors.

Following its closure, Bandidge has been used as a personal blog by its owner, Rob Stares. Currently focussing on his life with Ulcerative Colitis and occasional features on mental health and football, Bandidge continues to live on, albeit in less showbiz surroundings...!
